In addition to writing about a range of topics for dozens of editorial publications, I am also available for branded content writing and ghostwriting projects.
Content Writing
With the rise in native advertising, there is increased demand for skilled writers who can produce quality branded content that integrates seamlessly with the publication. I enjoy applying my journalistic chops to these projects, as I maintain the same high editorial standards whilst also highlighting a specific product. As a regular contributor to the Serious Eats branded content program, I have written articles and newsletter content that appeal to their readership (often in conjunction with my original recipes and food photography as well). A few examples of my content writing:
- 5 Ways to Identify the Best Canned Tomatoes
- There’s an App for That: Cook Sous Vide with the ChefSteps Joule App
- Beyond the Bun: 3 Hot Dog Recipes for National Hot Dog Day
“Katherine is an editor’s dream writer! Beyond delivering quality content on time, every time, she’s in tune with our brand’s voice and message and always goes out of her way to come up with ways to lead readers to other content on our site.” ~ Sarah Purkrabek, AFAR Media
Ghostwriting
Besides photographing and editing all 100 recipes for English-language cookbook Cook in Israel with Orly Ziv, I was also the ghostwriter, and would welcome the opportunity for another such project. By spending a great deal of time cooking and talking with Ziv and her family, I was able to capture her voice in a way that felt natural and relayed the stories and tips that she wished.
